This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the Services, including when you create an account, join or manage an organization, program, department, or team, invite or are invited as staff, enter roster, staff, game, schedule, and statistics data, use reports, alerts, dashboards, and administrative features, or contact us for support.

- Account and contact information such as name, email address, login credentials or authentication-related information, organization or team role information, and support communications.
- Organization, team, and staff information such as organization and team names, staff assignments, permissions, activation records, subscription tier information, and account status details.
- Roster, game, and statistics information such as player names, jersey numbers, class or grade levels, schedules, opponents, results, user-entered statistics, reports, dashboards, notes, and historical team records.
- Device, usage, and technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, crash or diagnostic information, feature usage, IP address, and approximate location derived from network activity.
- Billing and transaction information such as subscription status, plan type, renewal status, and payment-related metadata from payment processors or platform providers.
- Information you provide voluntarily through support requests, surveys, feedback, emails, or optional profile fields.
We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers on our own systems. Payment transactions may be processed by third-party providers such as Apple, Google, Stripe, or other payment processors.

5. Team and Organization Data Responsibility
Sideline Systems acts as a software platform for organizations, teams, and staff. Users who upload, manage, or enter player, staff, roster, team, or game information are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate rights, permissions, notices, and consents to do so.
If you use Sideline Systems on behalf of a school, club, team, or athletic program, your organization is responsible for how it collects and uses personal information entered into the Services.
6. Minor and Student Information
The Services may involve information relating to students, athletes, or minors when entered by authorized coaches, administrators, schools, clubs, or program representatives. Sideline Systems does not require users to submit sensitive personal information unless they choose to do so as part of their team operations.
Users and organizations are responsible for ensuring that any collection or use of minor or student information through the Services complies with applicable laws, school policies, league rules, and organizational requirements.
7. How We Share Information
- With your organization, team, and authorized users, depending on role-based permissions.
- With vendors and service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, databases, analytics, authentication, email delivery, customer support, subscriptions, and payment processing.
- For legal, security, and compliance purposes when necessary to comply with law, enforce our agreements, investigate issues, or protect rights, property, safety, or security.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale, reorganization, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing use.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, preserve platform integrity, and support historical team and game functionality.
If you request account deletion, certain information may be deleted, anonymized, or deactivated. However, deletion of an account does not necessarily require deletion of historical team records, game records, opponent records, reports, statistics, audit trails, or other data retained for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, competitive history, relational integrity, archival purposes, or data integrity.
In some cases, information may be retained in de-identified, archived, aggregated, or integrity-preserving form after account deletion or deactivation.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sideline Systems is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that are not operated by us.
12. Children's Privacy
Sideline Systems is intended for use by adults such as coaches, administrators, staff members, and organizational representatives. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create direct consumer accounts for the Services.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information, subject to any applicable legal or operational retention requirements.
13. International Use
Sideline Systems is operated in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
